Recently, Zhuji has successfully passed the re-accreditation as the "China Embroidery Machine Industry Base", as local embroidery machine manufacturers march toward digitalization and internationalization.

Recently, at the production workshop of Zhejiang Xinsheng Technology Co., Ltd., reporters saw employees rushing to complete more than 10 hot-fix setting machines destined for Egypt, India, Turkey and other markets. Developed jointly by Xinsheng Technology and a South Korean firm, this new model is mainly used to produce hot-fix patterns on garments, shoes, hats and other products. "With a long service life and high stability, this product has won wide recognition from both domestic and international markets since its launch," said Luo Xiaojun, the company's Foreign Trade Director.

Xinsheng Technology epitomizes the booming development of Zhuji's embroidery machine industry. A symposium on the re-accreditation of "China Embroidery Machine Industry Base · Zhuji" and industrial development was recently held in the city. After a comprehensive review of the city's embroidery machine sector, the expert panel announced the successful re-accreditation.

Since being awarded the title of "China Embroidery Machine Industry Base" in 2018, Zhuji has stayed focused on high-quality development. It has attracted supporting enterprises for electronic controls, motors and other embroidery machine components through investment promotion, delivering positive effects on the industry's competitive edge and talent structure. Meanwhile, guided by digital reform and pursuing both domestic and international markets, the city has strived to drive the embroidery machine industry toward digital, intelligent, high-end and international development, with products exported to more than 80 countries and regions worldwide.

Statistics show that Zhuji is now home to more than 130 computerized embroidery machine manufacturers. Last year, the output value of Zhuji's embroidery machine industry reached 5.8 billion yuan, up 5.4% year on year; total production hit 38,000 units, an increase of 8% year on year, accounting for over 70% of China's total output and more than 60% of the global share.
